" I love helping women feel like the most beautiful version of themselves, radiating their inner confidence, courage, and joy. Makeup is not meant to be a mask, but instead can be a subtle enhancement that allows them to see their inner beauty reflected."

I have over 18 years of experience as a freelance makeup and hair artist working in all aspects of the business, including fashion, film, television, and print. My time in the makeup artistry field has led me to work on diverse projects such as music videos for Nashville Capitol records, work with CNN, Bravo, events such as the St. Jude Runway for Life, and NY Fashion Week.  My artistry has been seen at movie premieres, as well as the Emmy and Oscar award red carpets. I have also had the privilege of working with photographers Sue Bryce, Lara Jade, and Harry Langdon.

My celebrity clientele has included the late Carrie Fisher, Julie Christie, Valerie Bertanelli, Sarah Rafferty, Michelle Tractenburg, Debi Mazar, Josh Hutcherson, Jonathan Galecki,  Joss Whedon and Jason Alexander. As an industry expert my beauty advice have been featured in in magazines such as Self, Allure Korea,, CBS Watch!, and Women’s World Daily.  As a beauty editor, my articles have been syndicated through the The Today Show, Chicago Sun Times, Huffington Post,, Type F, USA Today,,, and Yahoo Shine. As a makeup artist I love working on camera to show women how simple makeup can be, and pride myself on creating easy makeup looks that any woman can recreate and feel confident in.  I have worked with Ehow networks creating over 180 online short beauty tutorials, and was featured as an on air beauty expert for E! News Network and Huffington Post Live.

Formally, I was the founder and editor in chief of the popular beauty blog “The Makeup Blogger”, which had a readership of over 60,000 visitors a month, and a social media following of over 550,000 on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.

Currently, I have created a makeup series with The Portrait Masters and Sue Bryce Education featuring over  2 hours of video content covering 11 different how-to makeup videos. This series helps photographers train their HMU artists with simple techniques that will make their clients feel transformed.  The series also includes a 41 page full color makeup guide that I helped to co-write.
